The Monte Carlo method is a powerful statistical approach that uses random sampling to approximate complex mathematical problems. One classic example is estimating the value of pi. By randomly generating points within a square and checking how many fall inside a quarter circle, we can approximate pi from the ratio of points inside the circle to the total number of points.
